Oral history interview with Rae Leto, 2007 October 30.

Leto talks about her childhood in Des Moines; her career as a nurse; her family; coming down with polio at age 13 and being treated at Blank Hospital in Des Moines by Dr. James Dyson; and attending some of her junior high school classes from home via a two way communication device. She also expresses concern about the fact the doctors are not trained to treat post-polio syndrome sufferers.
